By participating in this WinTheLakes.com Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to all natural persons age 18 or older, in the United States from January 25, 2008 to February11, 2008. As of February 12, 2008, only residents from the State of California will be allowed to enter the WintheLakes.com sweepstakes. This promotion is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Incomplete entries are void. Limit one (1) online entry per household. A second entry may be obtained by visiting The Lakes Community. Multiple entries submitted by a single entrant with the same e-mail address and/or from the same computer are void. Online entrants must be the registered subscriber of the e- mail account by which the entry is made. Hofmann reserves the right to alter any rules of this contest at anytime.

ELIGIBILITY Employees, officers and directors of The Hofmann Company, their respective parents, subsidiaries, and agents, as well as the immediate family (defined as spouse, parents, children, siblings and grandparents) and household members of each such employee, officer and director are not eligible. By participating, entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of The Hofmann Company, which are final and binding in all respects.

PROMOTION PERIOD. The promotion begins on January 25, 2008 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (EST) and ends on December 31, 2009 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST ("Promotion Period").

HOW TO ENTER. To enter the drawing, you must enter online at www.WinTheLakes.com. You must provide a complete and valid email address to qualify for entry. Any email address that bounces (returned undeliverable) will be deleted from the drawing immediately. For a second entry to win, the online entrant must enter to win online, print out the Bonus Entry Form and bring the Bonus Entry Form to The Lakes at Discovery Bay Community during the promotion period.

SELECTION OF WINNER. Winners will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received within 7 days after the contest ending period. All decisions are final and binding. Winners will be notified by phone. The Lakes at Discovery Bay is not responsible for and shall not be liable for any late, lost, or misdirected notification, or for winner's unsuccessful efforts to claim any prize. Entry, acceptance, and/or use of any prize offered constitutes agreement by the winner to the use of the winner's first name, photograph, and/or other likeness for the purpose of advertising and promotion by The Lakes at Discovery Bay without any further compensation to the winner unless prohibited by law. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZE: One winner will receive their choice of one (1) of the following three (3) prizes: 1) $15,000 retail value on regularly priced furniture, redeemable at one of (4) four Bassett furniture store’s (9200 Fairway Drive, Roseville, CA 95678, 3260 Buskirk Avenue, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523, 7575 Dublin Blvd., Dublin, CA 94568, 43530 Christy Street, Fremont, CA 94538) 2) Two (2) years annual membership at Discovery Bay Country Club which includes golf membership initiation fees and monthly dues, 3) 2007 Bayliner 175 with inboard/outboard motor and trailer. Prize winner will be notified by phone or by the email address submitted. ALL TAXES, SHIPPING/DELIVERY, REGISTRATION AND SIMILAR CHARGES, IF ANY, ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER AND ARE NOT REFLECTED IN THE VALUE OF THE PRIZES AWARDED. Prizes are nontransferable and substitutions are not allowed. A cash equivalent will not be allowed.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY. All entrants release The Hofmann Company from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this promotion and/or acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss. The Hofmann Company is not responsible for prize quality or utility. The Hofmann Company will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled, distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Promotion disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor, or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.
